Comparison Table

Group interactions:

Ricky said: Hi Cissy,Thanks very much for sharing your experience in IELTS. You said it quite write that "no one can guarantee the effect of the change", but still is it a good thing that at least they have done something.

Cissy said: Education pf children is the fist thing for every family, and people pay more attention in education problem in this information era. I think we should do all efforts to reduce the bad effect of changes in education.

Milky said: yes, you are right the basic education is the most important thing I think in the whole learning process. And this will make sense in the following learning procedure, have effect on their learning approaches or learning habit.

Ricky said: Hi Milky,Thanks very much for your sharing about the Scenario planning of Japan, and making a comparison between East Japan earthquake and Wenchuan earchquake.Do you ever experienced such a planning in the restaurant that you worked in before? I am very curious to know about it.

Milky said: Hi,Ricky I do not have some experience that face the earthquake while when I was working in the restaurant, but I have chat with a Japanese who is also a restaurant staff who was just working when the big earthquake happened, maybe the place he was in not so seriously, the consumers just keep calm and sit in the their seat to see whether it will stop in a moment or they should take some steps to face it, at least, they were not felling in panic, without worry or screaming or escape outside.

Cissy said: Hi milky,Thank you for sharing the experience of earthquake. And I think it will be a cherished experience and a forever memory in your life. Japanese has a high quality to manager themselves in daliy live, what's more, they can deal with emegency situation very well. In my opinion, both Chinese and Chinese government have a lot of things to do to deal with natural disasters. What do you think we can do to protect ourselves?

Milky said: Firstly, I think we should keep our mind clear, we should not fell into panic, we should keep calm when some emergency situation happens.secondly, we should have some crisis consciousness in advance, so we have to make prepare and get ready for these thing so that we need not to worry when in some danger situation.

Vanice said: Jack,I understand your situation as I also responsible for the logistic work of seminars and technical forums for staffs. What I always encounter is I have confirmed with all the guest speakers before the event and distribute the rundown to staffs and MC. However, some guests are not able to present due to delay of airplanes or they need to cancel the invitation due to another important meeting etc. We need to change to rundown immediately and arrange other speakers for replacement. Once, we even cancel the seminars as the airport is closed due to heavy snow though we prepare the seminars for more than one month. No matter how well you prepare, there’s always something out of your expectation.

Milky said: your point make sense, have ever talk about this to your manager as a proposal?

Jack said: very nice to receive both your comments. To Vanice, thank you for sharing your own opinion. It's nice to notice that you have the same experience woth me.To Milky, sure, I had told it to my boss.

Cissy said: Hello Jack,I'm glad to know more about the Confucius Carnival 2012 as I want to know more about the organization in Hong Kong. The things I am curious about is what performance your organization give? And how the organization manager the performance team in daily live?

Makino said: Hi Jack, Thank you for sharing the information about the use of Scenario Planning in your organization. I feel very familiar with your organization after the several sessions. I think your organization did well on identifying unanticipated future, preparing the mind for unanticipated future and changing people's mind. You also said that the SP includes 5 points. Are the 5 point the essential stages or just parts of the SP? Does it make sense if the SP lack of 1 or 2 points? ( You don't have to answer my question if you think it has nothing to do with the topic and feel free to give me suggestion, thank you!!!)

Milky said: I think you could make some recommendation to your manager about this situation and he or she will appreciate you.

Ricky said: Hi Vanice, I think the Scenario 1 is difficult to be lowed the price, as once it rises, it is mostly never possible to lowered down. But one way the government can do is to develop an allowance policy to make up for the qualified Hong Kong Residents.

Makino said: Hi Vanice,Thank you for sharing the scenario planning of HongKong companies. You introduced the 6 stages in scenario planing which help me get a deeper understand of it. Do all the organizations who have scenario planning have to go through the 6 stages? What stage of scenario planning do you think the electricity company in HongKong is going on? ( You don't have to answer my question if you think it has nothing to do with the topic and feel free to give me suggestion, thank you!!!)

Milky said: how about imagine some examples that would happen to your organization and you can make some prediction and judgement before the negative things happened.

Makino said: Hi Milky,Thank you for your suggestion. I will think about it. But from my perspective, the scenario planning is not just the preparation for the coming future. I just used the process of scenario planning theory to help explain the use of scenario planning in my school. And in the last part of the theory I have already imagined the prediction.

Makino said: Apart from the concerns that made by the company, I think further consideration needs to be fully made by other groups, such as security department, traffic department, etc.

Vanice said: Hi Ricky,I also think that it will take long time to implement this policy. The Mainland and Hong Kong government may need to establish relevant law regarding who should responsible for the lost when there is accidient etc as there is concern about we cannot find the driver or request he/she to back to HK for investigation after accident.

Ricky said: Hi Vanice,Thanks for your advice. I do think so. But when it comes to the compensation policy, it is quite different between China and Hong Kong, as the quotas vary a lot. Times will be spent to negotiate how to make an agreement, and the way how to compensate, at what requirement...there are a lot of issues to be solved by the company.

Milky said: I want to know, if the policy was been carry out, who will get more benefit, the mainland people or the Hongkong people, only if both of them could get benefit, they will make collaboration to this policy.

Ricky said: Hi Milky,Actually I will not worry about the benefit. It is not a problem for both people in the two places. I would concern about the influence to Hong Kong traffic and Hong Kong insurance policy making. If the policy was carried out too quickly without enough public negotiation and corporation among different apartment (traffic department, immigration department, policy station...), it would be a big disaster and the Hong Kong resident would suffer most, with no good.

Milky said: yes, your worry is reasonable, this is really a contraditory issue, and it will take time to get a balance between the two sides.
However I believe there be a bright future there tomorrow to the relationship between the Hongkong people and mainland people.

Cissy said: As far as I know, the requirements for Chinese to get access to Hong Kong is high. And it's not easy for a public car to have the qualification, not to mention a private car.And the problem will not be so big. Of course, the government should have a fully consideration.
