Develop ideas of where you could incorporate the use of scenario planning in your organization.

This animated video can be used to help an audience understand what Scenario Planning is.

From the picture we can easily see that there are 5 stages in the process of scenario planning. So I want to incorporate the use of scenario planning in my organization from the 5 aspects.

Tracking (Outside to inside)

My organization is a common middle school with a traditional pedagogical perceptions in mainland. The outside situation is the schools always be evaluated by the proportion of students entering schools of a higher grade in mainland. So inside the school, principals and teachers pay more attention to students' scores of testbooks based exams. Then the outside situation has changed. The educational official government of my hometown offered a policy that the school must develop students' comprehensive abilities besides studying the textbooks. So it affect the inside school, the organization incorporate the use of scenario planning and made several plans to introduce ICT into school.

Analyzing(Key uncertain factor)

There are several uncertain factors to incorporate the use of scenario planning in my organization. 

Leadership: Less experience to control the ICT implememtation in the whole school and balance the exam and ICT implementation.

Teachers: Change their traditional pedagogy and make full use of ICT in class and be trained to have more information about ICT implementation.

Students: Know the real meaning of using ICT implementation in study instead of just playing on internet and searching information.

These uncertain factors must be forcused on the scenario planning about ICT implementation introduction.

Imagining(Determine vision)

The ICT implementation in education is a trend in scioal development. About this scenario planning, after tracking and analyzing, the organization must get a determine vision. The teachers may adapt quickly and perfectly combine ICT with own pedagogy. Students may make sevearl progress not only in exam but also in many aspects. This scenario planning may also be failed and students and teachers cannot adapt. The organization thought about many situations that may happen in the future. 

Decision(System thinking)

System thinking is very important in scenario planning. The organization must think about how to fund the ICT implementation. The training of teachers is also important. The organization can employ some professional people to train teachers or directly teach students or ask teachers to learn ICT by themselves. The organization also must pay attention to students' performance, lead them to learn with ICT in a right way and find ways to slove some problems such as regress of students' exam scores.

Action(Sustainable development)

This scenario planning about ICT implementation in my organization is difficult to achieve. This plan is fit the whole development of the society, so the organization must keep on no matter how many difficulties it may meet.
